From April 1, 2016, people under the age of 18 are no longer allowed to buy electronic cigarettes, shisha or liquids. This applies to retail and online shops in Germany.

Online shops must ensure that people under the age of 18 are not allowed to place an order themselves. Therefore, we must carry out an age check before completing the purchase.

The age verification is carried out in the background, so you have no restrictions when purchasing. For this purpose, the address data and date of birth are automatically queried via Schufa. We chose Schufa as our partner because they have the largest data set.
The query neither affects your creditworthiness nor does it lead to a deterioration in your Schufa data. Only the consistency of the data is checked.

In principle, we have so far only requested the data from you that was absolutely necessary to carry out an order. Therefore, most customers have not yet provided us with their date of birth. Before you place the order, we therefore ask you to enter your date of birth (at the bottom) in your customer account. Otherwise you will receive an error message later when checking your age.

In a few cases an age check cannot be carried out. This can be the case, for example, if you are not known to Schufa or your data does not match. You then have the opportunity to upload your ID card and we will activate your account manually. As soon as the account is activated, we will inform you by email.
Otherwise, please contact our support.

During delivery, it must also be checked that no minor is receiving the package. Therefore, delivery to agreed storage locations is no longer possible. Please check your delivery address in this regard.
If no authorized recipient is able to accept your shipment, the delivery will be made available for collection at the nearest post office.
You can still have your shipment delivered to a different address than your billing address (e.g. to the office). Then just make sure that an adult can accept the package.

 

Yes, of course that works. Since your data will not be stored in the shop, we have to carry out an age check with every purchase.
In order to avoid error messages, we recommend that you create a customer account.
